Halo Reach’s first piece of downloadable content has hit the digital shelves today, showcasing three new multiplayer maps for the game. Sadly – none of these maps feature co-op support for Firefight – they are a versus only affair. We’re quite disappointed Bungie decided to leave Firefight out of the mix this time – so we just wanted to make sure everyone knew – there is NO co-op in this map pack. Though the two opposing symmetrical bases may never reveal their ancient purpose, both now offer makeshift shelter and access to strategic routes perfectly suited for small and large scale skirmishes alike.
Big Team Battle (or BTB as it is also known) is a matchmaking playlist intended for games of eight versus eight. Ranked and unranked Big Team Battle playlists were recently retired in Halo 3 and replaced with Squad Battle. Halo: Reach.

I haven’t seen any posts on this subreddit addressing the issue of map rotation in its current state, only a few comments here and there. I am so thankful that Reach launched in its entirety. The DLC maps are pretty good in my opinion at least and I enjoy playing them. What happened to all of the in game forge maps?
